About

Welcome to my online scrapbook, a living archive of my findings and thoughts pertaining to the body, the form, the flesh, the tangible and the enigmatic, and the science, art and beauty of it all. I welcome participation from anyone who cares to do so, so that this may also be a place of respectful, open, and lively conversation and sharing.

I am a professional modern dancer and practitioner and student of various forms of body and energy work residing in the Bay Area by way of New York City.

I am pleased to offer Restorative & Relaxing Bodywork sessions inspired by Swedish Massage with notes of gentle Deep Tissue & Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Release, Thai and Craniosacral Massage, and Reiki, all tailored to meet your unique goals and preferences. All my work is informed by over two decades of training as a professional modern dancer and study of various forms of bodywork, energy work, meditation, and yoga.

ENTRAINMENT“One of the forgotten geniuses of Western science was a Dutch mathematician named Christian Huygens, who approximately 350 years ago discovered one of the fundamental laws of this universe. Huygens noticed that when he moved two clocks close to one another, their pendulums always synchronized and moved as one. Huygens called this phenomena entrainment. The urge of anything rhythmic (and everything is) to move together, to find a harmonious relationship, to share energy, is one of the glues (maybe the glue) that holds Everything together.”-Anon
